| 中文描述 | 豬隻天生對肉毒桿菌（CLOSTRIDIUM BOTULINUM）有抵抗力，但是仍有一些病例發生。在其他動物會造成散佈性的鬆弛性麻痺與癱瘓。不容易診斷，因為小白鼠保護試驗（mouse protection tests）在豬隻並沒有什麼效果。若有臨床症狀，毒素應該會存在飼料中。 |

| 英文描述 | Pigs have a natural resistance to the toxin of CLOSTRIDIUM BOTULINUM, but a few cases have been described. As in other species there is a diffuse flaccid paresis and paralysis. Diagnosis is difficult, as mouse protection tests are not that useful in swine. Toxin should be demonstrated in the feed, with clinical signs. |
